Chevrolet will introduce an all-new sport-utility
vehicle next spring called the Equinox. The 2005
Chevrolet Equinox fits in the lineup below the
TrailBlazer and seats five passengers. It's
expected to go on sale during the first quarter of
2004.
Equinox will look like the newest trucks from
Chevrolet, including Avalanche, TrailBlazer,
Silverado, and the upcoming Colorado. Equinox has
the high-mounted single cross-bar grille opening
with compound complex
headlamps filling the front corners. It features
four large fender bulges, a pulled-in waist
section on the body and doors, and a four-pillar
roof design leading to a top-hinged tailgate with
opening rear glass. Because of its relatively trim
size, we think it's the best-proportioned of all
the Chevy trucks.
Equinox is named
for the celestial phenomenon of March 21 and
September 21, when there are equal amounts of day
and night. The name is meant to reflect the
truck's versatility and all-weather capability. .......More>>>> |
Let’s face it, buying a first boat can be a
daunting proposition. A lot of folks will try to
learn everything they can before pulling the
trigger: construction, warranties, length,
features, resale value, fit and finish, engines
and outdrive systems. Factor in the number of boat
companies out there, and you get information
overload. Golfers experience a similar malady when
they try to incorporate all the tips they read
into their game, a malady called “paralysis from
analysis.”
How do you combat that problem? Aside from
diligently reading Boating World, word of mouth is
a powerful tool. If you ask a sampling of avid
boaters to name three companies that make a
good-looking, quality runabout and stand behind
their product, you will probably hear the name Sea
Ray mentioned as often as any other. When it comes
to Sea Ray’s newest runabout, the 200 Sport, there
are going to be three types of buyers: people who
have previously bought “brand X” and are ready to
upgrade, boaters who have already owned Sea Rays,
and those lucky new boaters who asked around and
got it right the first time. ........
